Week 9

In 9th week we opened new frames for the replacement of the maps images. 

George had finally solved the problem we faced with the photos and their maximizing in the game.

We do not have any mini clip ready or graphs, so that we will be able to submit the game as soon 

as possible. Another problem we face up is the size of the game as its size achieves 0.5 GB without 

the videos and the final graphs yet.

Week 8

Week 8

In 8th week the game just finished. The only parts that now
 remain to be placed in are the graphs, the the videos, photos and map
images in the program. The image maps were finished but we did not have enough frames
to place them in the game. We finally found out the major photo for the background of the game.

Week 7

The seventh week we finished the story concept of the game and we focused our attention on programming and design issues. On programming basis we designed the database of the game so that we would be able to  add extra languages to the game. Furthermore, we created some of the mini games that we would like to contain in the game concept in order to complete the programming piece. The only matter that remains incomplete is the design part and our team will have it ready in the next few days. We have used the google map website to determine the path that our player will follow. We would like to take some better photos for the background of the game.

The third week we tried to create the story through the taken photos but we found difficulties and because of these we were supposed to re-desigh the story so that it could be easier for the operation of the story. We excluded Shacola's tower as the start point of the game and we have picked Solomou Square as the started point of the game.

The sixth week we have shown some examples of the game would operate through the Adobe Flash Player. We tried to design the way that we should follow so that the game would be able to operate on Adroit. Doctor Christou offered a feedback and some advices for the replacement of the different languages in the game. The garffic design team designed the buttons of the game. In addition Elena's team tried to make the story concept perfect.

The fifth week during the lesson time we walked at Ledra's street accompanied by doctor Christou. We checked on the street that each player of the game will complete and we took photos that would be useful for the design of the game.

Week 1

The first week we have discussed for the structure of the lesson, the classification of the different categories of games based on the tools that we could use for the creation of the game and the needed structure for the creation of the game. During the second week the team proposed different ideas for the creation of the game and we were supposed to choose the best idea.

Week 2

The second week of the research we set all the ideas for the design of the game on table and we vote for the best one which fits the deadline and our possibilities.  We collect the tourist education idea as the best one.

On Saturday we had a meeting as Ledras and we decided on which places we will promote the idea and how we will able to built our story. Furthermore we had second meeting to write the story of the game.
